Quick and Easy Chocolates
So, you just want a few pretty chocolates for a gift. No frets, start here.
What you need is some nice melting chocolate. Also called Chocolate Bark. It is easy melting, and hey, it has become easier to use. You can now buy it in a tray and melt it in the microwave. Tell me things have not gotten better.
Melt that chocolate and put it into a container it will be easier to dispense from.
Now you need something to pour that liquid gold into to get those finger bite size chocolates. I got these off Amazon. Who doesn't purchase all those odd things from off Amazon. You either hate Amazon or love it, me, I love it, I can find almost anything I want and never have to leave the house. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P8ZC1AO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s...
Once you have the melted chocolate and the molds, all you do it fill the folds, you can buy a squeeze bottle from Amazon as well, pour your chocolate into it and fill those molds. I myself, I just used a spoon., The squeeze bottle is much less messy when filling the actual mold.
Once you get your molds filled, you will want to drop them lightly on the counter to get the chocolate into any nooks and crannies and remove any bubbles that might be in the middle of the chocolate. Your mold should looks something like the following photo.
I put my trays into the freezer. It doesn't take long for the chocolate to set up, ten minutes or so. This photo is after I pulled the mold from the freezer.
Once set, you can just pop your chocolates from the mold.
You have some lovely finger sized chocolates to give to that loved one, or as for my chocolates, the grandkids helped themselves for several days. Lunch box goodies, after school treat, so they did not last long.
