Merry Christmas To One And All
As we shift down into the final week before Christmas we need to take a moment and remember that Christmas means so much to so many. Christmas has fallen into the present giving time, but for many it is not really celebrated for the presents. Many Christians celebrate it for the birth of their Lord and Savior and find it a very holy time.
I have found though, through the years that many celebrate this solstice time as a time of renewal, time for family, time to enjoy the blessings of their lives. I spoke with a lady doing my nails and she was all excited about the upcoming day and I asked if they celebrated Christmas. Oh, yes she replied, we love Christmas. She was Buddhist. So that just goes to show that this holiday transcends the Christ Mass that started back a thousand years or more, that started the 12 days of Christmas to the Epiphany on January 6, or Little Christmas.
So however you celebrate or don’t celebrate this time of year, may it resonate with peace and happiness to you and your family from Gina and I here at Happy Clutter.
