Artist Secret Tip

Well, scream no more!  For all you artists out there, here is a tip I received from a professional artist. First, the question: How in heaven’s name do you not only clean your brushes, but keep them soft? Many of us go through a variety of professional “soaps” and “cleaners”, and then up with brushes whose bristles are stiff as boards when they dry. No More!     Here's the tip.........Baby Oil!

                                               Yes, you read that correctly.

But first, wash them with Pink Artists Soap,

then soak them with baby oil. After a good soaking of baby oil, clean them again with just a smidgen of Pink Artists Soap and water. Make sure you get all of the Baby Oil and the Pink soap completely out.

Then dry with a soft towel. If the bristles still dry a little stiff, a flick of your fingers should bring them back to their original flexible softness.
